A set of 30 identical Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling Test B for Year 3. We suggest using this test in the spring term, but they can be used at any time, in class or at home.

SERIES INFORMATION

Baseline tests in Maths, Reading and Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling for Years 2 to 6 to check knowledge and understanding and measure progress.

Use the test at the start of each term, thereby giving your teachers an idea of what your pupils are confident in, but also identify any gaps in their learning, helping to inform teaching and learning plans for the term ahead.

The tests are based on the National Curriculum objectives for each year group and are not progressive from Test A to Test C as all are set at the same level/cover all the objectives, helping to show any progress that children are making during the year.

Our suggestion is that Test A is used for the autumn term, B for spring and C for summer but they can be used at any time, in class or at home.

Use the digital mark book to record results and monitor progress.
