Based on popular films and TV series, Popcorn Readers provide the perfect way to engage younger learners. The series introduces children to English with fun, recognisable characters, large illustrations and the gradual introduction of new words and phrases.

This pack contains 32 readers plus accompanying CDs, including books from Starter level to Level 3.

Inside every reader
  • A high-interest story based on the best children’s TV series and films
  • English language activities for different types of learners
  • Cross-curricular and cross-cultural information
  • Free downloadable teacher’s notes for use in class or by parents at home

Popcorn ELT Primary Readers are available at four levels:

Starter level
  • Stories are 200 words in length and include 150 headwords
  • Level 1 (Early Beginner) Stories are 500 words in length and include 200 headwords
  • Level 2 (Mid-Beginner) Stories are 800 words in length and include 250 headwords
