Product description

Julia Donaldson’s favourite characters are now in gorgeous board books with lovely soft felt flaps for toddlers to lift and find fun things. Where has Zog the dragon gone? Is he flying in the sky? No, those are birds! Is he hiding in the castle? No, that’s the king! Lift the colourful felt flaps in this fun chunky board book, perfect for small hands, until you find Zog the dragon! There is so much fun to be had.

  • Based on the bestselling book Zog and the Flying Doctors by Julia Donaldson and illustrated by Axel Scheffler, the creators of The Gruffalo, Stick Man and ZOG , which have all been made into animated films shown on BBC1
  • The animated film of Tabby McTat stars voice artists including Jodie Whittaker (Doctor Who) as the narrator, Rob Brydon (Gavin and Stacey) as Fred, Sope Dirisu (Gangs of London) as Tabby McTat, alongside Cariad Lloyd, Joanna Scanlan and Susan Wokoma.
  • Look out for Jonty Gentoo by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler in 2024.

Our March 2021 Ages 0-2 Book of the Month

My 0+ offering this month is a truly eye-catching board book that offers easy-to-flip felt flaps to explore and big, bright illustrations from Axel Scheffler that really POP off the page! This is one to really grab the attention of very young children and, not only is it lots of fun, it helps to build hand-eye co-ordination, develop early speech and aid learning through word repetition. Zog is such a loveable character and a big part of making this my choice is that I have a funny feeling that you will be sharing this book many, many times. A great way to build an early interest in books.
