Product description

It wasn’t just the power cut the night Jean Honeychurch was born that earned her the nickname Jinx. Bad luck follows her wherever she goes! After all, that’s why she’s been shipped off to her posh cousins in New York, to lie low until the trouble she’s caused back home dies down. Jinx’s stuck-up cousin Tory couldn’t care less about her… until Jinx’s jinx starts wreaking havoc in Tory’s perfect world. Only then does Jinx realise that beneath Tory’s big-city glamour lies a dark world of evil, hatred and revenge. Now the jinx that’s driven Jean crazy might be the only thing that can save her life… From bestselling author Meg Cabot, this tale of sophistication, destiny and the supernatural stirs up a darkly thrilling magic brew.

This is one of my favourite books, I have read it like a million times. I love Jinx/Jean and I love the way that she is used to being this plain girl to this magical, mysterious girl who falls in love and makes friends that she will always have. Jinx is a fun packed, magical, romance that I would recommend for anyone! x Meg Cabot is a fantastic author!!!

It was brilliant. A girl named Jean has to go to Manhattan while the trouble at home dies down. She doesn’t mind, as she gets to stay with her favourite cousin, Tory. But Tory couldn’t have changed more. She is now a goth, obsessed with… witchcraft. Jean should have known not to get involved with Tory’s cute boyfriend. A huge revenge is brewing, and Jean will have to taste the poison…
