on 3 March 2011I work for the reviewing team and did the most recent review. I thought some of the book was very tragic, whilst other parts brought joy and happiness at the time of the Tudor reign.

on 28 February 2011Another captivating book by Alison Prince. This time we learn of young Beatrice Townhill, as she makes her way through life and and the experiences it offers. Her diary tells us of the relationships she forms and the worries and difficulties that repeatedly occur for people under the Tudor reign. In time, Beatrice unfolds the mysteries to the loss of each of King Henry’s wives and the treacherous lives they led. Alison Prince creates a mixture of horror and dread and captures life perfectly.
