Product description
Sunset lives a life of luxury with her beautiful ex-model mum, her world-famous ex-rocker dad and two little celeb siblings. But life on the red carpet is no compensation for rowing parents, constant nagging, intensive media scrutiny and no real friends. Destiny, on the other hand, is an only child living on a rundown estate with a sickly but devoted mum who constantly tells her that she’s really the daughter of a famous former rock star…When the two girls meet in unlikely circumstances, they are surprised to find in each other something they’ve been missing all their lives…

on 3 February 2013Little Darlings is a fantastic book that I truly enjoyed reading! I borrowed it from the libary a couple of days ago and I’ve already finished it! I would certainly recommend this book to anyone who wants to read it. It does contain some very long chapters but apart from that it’s very good. I love how Jacqueline Wilson seperates the chapters between Sunset and Destiny (the main characters) so the reader can see the story from two points of view. I also love the storyline! It’s brilliant! I don’t want to spoil the plot but the book is about two girls (Sunset and Destiny) who discover something really exciting! I hope everyone enjoys this book as much as I did!

on 6 September 2011I borrowed this book from my friend, as i am Jacqueline Wilson’s No.1 Fan!
Out of ten i would give Little Darlings 9/10. I believe that a fair score because i found it didn’t make me want to keep reading as much as some of the other Jacqueline Wilson’s books.
Although i enjoyed this book, i would not put it in my top 10. I have noticed that Little Darlings is alot of people fav’ book, it all depends on what books you enjoy, really.
It’s about 2 girls who’s lives colide…

on 27 February 2011little darlings is a very loving book about two half sisters who were split up, called Destiny and sunset. Destiny is a normal girl living with her mum and also having no idea that her father, Danny Kilman [Big pop star] left her mum before she was born. Sunset is the daughter of Danny Kilman, growing up in complete luxury, but for once wants to be normal. Read the rest of this book to find out whether destiny and sunset meet each other or not.

on 12 June 2010I think this book is passionate. Jacky describes the two girls brilliantly and I like the fact that they seem so real, as if they are my sisters. I recommend this book to children older than eight. I love how Jacky has chosen such imaginative characters and chosen names to fit their personality, I think it is a stunning book and I hope that if you read it you will enjoy it as much as I have.

I love this book! I got it signed by Jacqueline Wilson before it was out in the shops! You see, I sent an email to Jacky, saying that I was gonna be on my hols when she was up in Medowhall, Sheffield, doing her book signing in WHSmith’s. Jacqueline was really kind about it and sent me the signed copy of her book, Little Darlings, the Saturday before it was out. I sent a long ‘Thank You’ email back to her. I told her she was my best friend and my favourite author ever.
You’ll have to read this book, it’s awesome!
Later! FruityLipsChic1313

on 22 March 2010This book is amazing (well, its written by Jacky, so why wouldn’t it be?!). I was hooked onto the very first page and it took me two days to read as it was so addictive! When I was reading it at school, my friend was reading over my shoulder and when I turned over the page she said “Wait! I want to see what happens!”. It only took a page to make her ask me if I could lend her the book. This book deserves a 10 star rating if there was one!
