Product description

Second in the fabulously funny series. The female Wimpy Kid turns the cringe-o-meter up to Max-well. And makes you LOL like a nutter at the exact same time. Things are finally looking up for Nikki. She’s made some real friends at school – and now her major crush, Brandon, wants her to be his science lab partner. Hello! Seriously awesome development! What’s more, the Halloween dance is coming up. Nikki hopes she might land Brandon as her dance partner too. But is that ever gonna happen with mean girl MacKenzie around?

This book is about a quirky girl who has a-not-so-fabulous life. Nikki Maxwell couldn’t have been so Westchester Country Day middle school or so she thinks. In this Dork Diaries book Nikki plans a party, gets revenge on the monster gorilla rattlesnake in pink lip gloss in leather boots(Ultimate mean girl Mackenzie), busts some moves at a Halloween party along with organising it and goes to two parties at once. Did she manage it? Read the book to find out!

this one wasn’t a big favourite of mine but it was still i really good book!i like cringed the whole way through it for nikki’s sake.sooo embarrassing!and mackenzie was just sick in this one>I.i couldn’t believe she took nikki’s bag so that she had to wear the stinky mouse costume and that she nearly stopped nikki going to the dance by lying about going with brandon!

I haven’t read Party Time but I’m dying to have a go. Maybe Nikki will go to the Halloween dance with Brandon, maybe not, I’ll just wait and see.

This book is a very well thought out book, hilarious but you feel really sorry for Nikki because Mackenzie is always horrible to her. It really is like a real life of somebody; the book really wants to get you reading, because of all of its great sketches and its layout, just makes you want to read all of the book series again and again.

I like this book. Personally, I wouldn’t call it the best book I’ve ever read, as I read it in one day, but it’s good for a funny, light and quick read. The cartoon strip are funny and easy to understand, though the plot line is not particularly complex. The plot is really quite simple, though the simple-ness created an atmosphere in the book that makes it a worthwhile read. I would recommend it, as it is very cleverly written, with humour and wit. Though make sure you read a proper book after.

I seriously could not put this book down! The author had me teetering on the edge of a cliff at some points in this book! This book is part of a series, but you don’t have to have read the first book to enjoy this book. For ages 10+. 1000/10, the best book I have read in ages.
