Product description

When Cally Fisher sees her dead mother, real as anything, no one believes her. So Cally stops talking – what’s the point if no one is listening? The only other living soul who sees Cally’s mum is a mysterious wolfhound, who always seems to be there when her mum appears. But without a voice, how will Cally convince anyone that Mum is still with them? And how will she ever persuade Dad that the huge silver-grey dog is their last link with her? An outstandingly assured debut novel from a brave new talent.

“Heartbreakingly beautiful… I loved it.” Cathy Cassidy

“A tender story of heartache and hope, doubt and courage, silence and song. Sarah Lean’s graceful, miraculous writing will have you weeping one moment and rejoicing the next.” Katherine Applegate

    Made me feel good

I thoroughly enjoyed a dog called homeless by Sarah Lean as It made me feel good. I didn't want to put it down and I think that it is amazing how Sarah has arranged the book into lots of small chapters. I love Homeless so much I would love a dog like him. My favourite part is when everyone gets united again at the end as it made me smile and feel happy. This book is definitely worthy of 5*.
