Product description

Yay! The school’s holding a major talent competition! It’s Nikki’s big chance to prove that she’s a shining star, not a cringing dork. Now Nikki can let her hair down by singing and dancing with her friends, and finally stop worrying about ruining what little reputation she has. Except that Nikki is hiding an embarrassing fact. She’s only at her posh private school, Westchester, on a scholarship – because her dad is working as the school’s pest exterminator! And as Nikki hits the stage, determined to propel herself to popularity, her shaming secret is waiting in the wings…

If you ever wanted to perform in front of your school in a talent show but was too shy or embarrassed to do it, Pop Star is the book for you! It’s about how Nikki’s school is holding a talent contest and Nikki enters with her band, Dorkalicious (also known as Actually, I’m Not Really Sure Yet) with heaps of obstacles along the way. Grab a copy, you won’t be let down!

This is one of my favourites, this book has the most biggest life problems for Nikki and her embarrassments seem to be getting worse when her dad comes to the school as the pest exterminator! So buy this book and read it to the very end and hopefully you’ll agree with me.

I absolutely LOVED…...(keep saying LOVED for two hours)this book and one of the good things is that you don’t have to read the first two books to understand what is going on. Anyone will love this even adults! (my friend’s mum has read it and she enjoyed it!) If your looking for a good book that will get you gripped you’ve defiantly come to the right place! P.S Just make sure you know what a scholarship is.
