Product description

Boggis, Bunce and Bean are the meanest, foulest farmers in the world! So when they declare war on Mr Fox, who has been stealing their chickens and cider to feed the starving animals on the hillside, they mean business! They are determined to get Mr Fox. They lie in wait outside his hole each day, crouching behind trees with loaded guns; ready to shoot, starve or dig Mr Fox out. But Mr Fox is a crafty, noble fox with lots of little foxlets to feed, and he isn’t going to give up that easily. With the help of his friends Rabbit and Badger, he thinks up an ingenious plan to evade their shotguns and shovels… One of Roald Dahl’s most charismatic characters comes to flamboyant life in this best-loved novel – a true childhood essential.

Also available: Read and Respond activities to accompany Fantastic Mr Fox.

I really enjoyed this book because I liked how Mr Fox manages to get lots of food from the farmers for his family. I like the part when Mr fox and his four small foxes get lots of food from the famers for a big feast.

    The book is really exciting.

Roald Dahl is an amazing author.

I am still reading this book but so far i find it humorous! After three farmers ( one skinny, one fat and one short) are after à fox for stealing some of There chickens and geese. However, this fox can outsmart them since hé is smarter than them. I’ve never really found out if the farmers catch the fox or not so its your job to read it and see. Its world book day so i gave this book a favour and Rated it à 5 out of 5.

I love this book because Mr Foz proved to the animals that he isn’t scared and that he is very clever. He proved this by tricking the 3 grumpy farmers.

I love this book because it is great when the 3 farmers dig the massive hole. And it’s great when all the foxes dig as fast as they could.
