Product description
Will and Marty are all set to enjoy the summer holidays, but Mum has other ideas. She decides to pack them off to the library, home of the dreaded librarian Mrs Murphy, who is rumoured to control unruly children with a gas-powered spud gun! Mrs Murphy may be tough, but in naughty Will and Marty, has she finally met her match? Cheeky, sympathetic and hilarious through and through, this side-splitting comic caper will leave children – and their teachers – laughing their socks off!

on 3 March 2011This is one of my favourite books, I love it. There is a good bit where his brother tricks him into going to get a book in the adult’s section because his brother said he’d tell him where Action Man is buried in the garden but when he gets back he reveals it’s only buried in the toy box!

on 26 November 2009This book is GREAT! I loved it! It was really interesting how they never liked the library and then they were sniking out to get books even though they knew they would get punsihed very strictly! FUNNY!

on 6 June 2009The Legend of Spud Murphy is an ok book – not my favourite though. It is far from realistic even down to the characters names. I have started reading Artemis Fowl – hopefully I shall enjoy that more… Watch out for my Artemis Fowl review once I have read it!
