Product description
What kind of burglar picks strawberries at midnight? What secrets lie behind the guarded walls of the mysterious estate? Four unlikely adventurers are about to find out! Ben might think he’s got enough to cope with in his complicated family: a weird step-brother, a neurotic half-sister and his dippy mum. But now there’s a shadowy mystery afoot – and perhaps the misfits have just the skills needed to solve it… Injecting a modern attitude and quirky characters into a traditional tale of children solving mysteries, this is great stuff from Josh Lacey, the author of Bearkeeper and Grk.

on 28 July 2010This book is absolutely stupendous! I was lucky enough to meet the author when I was picked for a book review group at my school, and he was really nice.
My favourite character in the book is Kitkat because of all the funny stuff she says (she once said “Do you want me to get murdered?!”)
I would recommend this book to anyone who likes mystery and suspense. Oh, and if you love monkeys then give it a go.
