Product description

Master storyteller and internationally bestselling author Christopher Paolini returns to the World of Eragon with Murtagh. Murtagh, a stunning epic fantasy set a year after the events of the Inheritance Cycle, will publish in 2023.

The third book in The Inheritance Cycle

More awaits Eragon and Saphira following the colossal battle against the Empire’s warriors.

He’s bound by promises he may not be able to keep, including his oath to his cousin Roran to rescue his beloved Katrina.

When unrest claims the rebels and danger strikes, Eragon must make choices that take him across the Empire and beyond. Choices that may lead to unimagined sacrifice.

Conflict, action, adventure and one devastating death await readers as Eragon battles on behalf of the Varden while Galbatorix ruthlessly attempts to crush and twist him to his own purposes.

Can he become a leader who can unite the rebel forces and defeat the King?

I think this series is a bit boring because there are a lot of details.

I like books about dragons because even though they’re not real every know what they are, this series just brings them to life and gives them lives filled with imagination and adventure. Brisingr mean fire and much like it’s name sake it sets your imagination a blaze and your hearth thumping, it’s a good read

I absolutely love this series, and recently purchased, the first two in the series, as it came in a box. My older sister owns Brisingr (3rd in the series) and I read it. Eragon also became a movie, also one that I didn’t watch…Due to the fact I heard reviews saying it was much, much worse than the books. This series was what you would expect out of Eastenders, but with a twist of course! It has added fantasy and is set in the past, with dragons! Eragon, in the 1st book, has no mother or father, and knows nothing about them, (and I hope I don’t reveal too much) but he leaves this 3rd book, with a lot more knowledge than he did. With half-brothers, romance, and lies all mixed into 3 amazing books. Now I started reading Eragon, when all three were available in the library, therefore I didn’t have to wait years, and forget the story before I read the next one. And Unfortunately, imagine my despair when I finished the 3rd book on a cliffhanger, and no fourth book was out yet! I do hope it comes out soon!
