Product description

An international criminal group known as Scorpia can offer Alex something no-one else will: the truth.

Alex Rider is in Venice, looking for secrets long-ago buried in the past. Was his father really a ruthless assassin? And if so, what does that make Alex? The trail leads Alex to a shadowy criminal organisation, Scorpia – and the glamorous Italian home of Claudia Rothman, beautiful society hostess and criminal mastermind. But Claudia reveals a secret that takes Alex’s breath away: his father was murdered by MI6. Now Alex must make a choice. Should he carry on working for MI6, who have manipulated and betrayed him? Or will he join Scorpia – and seek revenge?

I love all the anger in Alex in this book, he really makes you think what is he going to do next. His temper seemed to make him unpredictable and that just made the book much more gripping. Really enjoyed reading the book and the fact that Alex was turning on MI6 just made it even more ingenious! Loved it!
