Product description
The poignant and remarkable true-life story of a young Jewish girl who evaded the Nazis for two years before finally dying in Bergen-Belsen. Written in a hidden attic in Amsterdam, this diary, told in Anne’s own words, is a remarkable story of confinement and courage, and of the life one girl lived at the epicentre of world history. One of the enduring books of the 20th Century, it should be read by everyone.

on 29 April 2010This is an AMAZING book. Written in anti-Jewish Holland, this diary explores the day-to-day (terrible) living conditions for Jews. Even more amazingly, it’s true and so is its author and story!! It starts from the author, Anne Frank’s, 13th birthday and carries on until a few days before Anne and her family and house-mates are deported to a concentrated. I loved this book but I wouldn’t suggest reading it until you are at least 10 or 11. By the way, even though it is written by a girl it is still a good read for boys.
