Product description

Ooops! When the fairies wiped Artemis’s memories, they never thought they’d one day need his help. But now evil pixie Opal Koboi is back – and she’s more dangerous than ever. This time she doesn’t just want power over the fairies. This time, she wants humans too. Captain Holly Short is the only fairy with a hope of stopping her, but it takes one genius criminal mastermind to fight another. A criminal genius like Artemis Fowl, in fact. Now, Artemis is the only saviour the fairies have. Except that he can’t remember they exist… Brilliant boy-friendly action adventure from a series that has sold over six million copies!

I started reiadng this a while ago when I first got my Kindle. The premise sounded interesting, and it was.But the huge, huge number of typos and other errors really ruined the book for me. I slogged through the first one and quit midway through the second. There were also some inconsistencies in the story (e.g. on one page a particular gel is described as orange, but on the next page the gel is described as purple).A case of decent series ruined by horrible editing.

Wonderful book, Artemis and Opal are quite a match, both are criminal masterminds but this time Artemis is trying to save the world.
