Product description
Percy’s had a quiet year. Not a single monster has set foot in his New York school. But out of the blue, a game of dodgeball with some cannibal giants turns very UGLY. And worse is to come… The magical borders protecting Half-Blood Hill’s young demi-gods are failing. Somebody has poisoned the magical pine tree which protects the borders from danger. As demons and monsters attack, the only way to restore the tree’s power is to find the mythical Golden Fleece, rumoured to have legendary healing gifts. But the Fleece lies lost across the Sea of Monsters, a place of treachery and terror. And guess who is going to tackle the deadly quest of finding it? That’s right: Percy Jackson!

on 8 March 2014This is the second book in the Percy Jackson series and in my opinion is even better than the first. Percy, Annabeth and Grover set out to find the Golden Fleece to save camp half blood from Luke and his evil forces. This adventure leads to them travelling across the sea, meeting Hercules and even fighting their way out of a digestive system! This book was incredible!

on 3 March 2014It is a fun to read book, but it is overflowing with myths and monsters. I like the way it introduces new characters. All of the characters have there own way of doing things.

on 6 March 2013Percy Jackson is actually a demigod which means that he has one mortal parent and one godly parent, in his case-Poseidon. In this adventure he goes and rescues his friend Grover the Saytr. I would recommend this book to older readers from 10-16

on 29 February 2012This was a great sequel to Percy Jackson, and I loved all the books in the series. The series overall is my favorite set of books, and I definitely recommend them to anyone. Although the cover looks very boyish, I loved the book and I am a girl, so don’t judge the book by its cover! Banana88

on 3 March 2011Percy thought he was done battling greek monsters after last years incident but no, when percy finds himself blowing up his second school it looks like this years gonna be the same as last year. In this book percy must retrieve the golden fleece and save his best friend. I won’t spoil the rest but a lot more things happen inbetween. YOU NEED TO READ THIS BOOK!

on 25 February 2011I like the way this book goes. When a greek god is mentioned I picture an image of what is happening of the book so I like how the author has made an advantage of Poseidon as Percy’s father and Zeus the big boss.

on 9 March 2010If this book was cake it would be scrumpcious. I loved every minute of the tension and the cliff-hanging paragraphs, the way percy uses his water god skills to escape the monster cyclopes. Rick has proved himself to me once again an amazing author.

I Love Percy Jackson as you know by my name. Annabeth is my favourite character. This particular book in the series is very interesting as the borders of the camp are failing and percy yet again goes on a quest to get the golden fleece to guard camp.
