Product description

How can you face your future when your past is a lie?

When Rosie’s mother, Trudie, dies from Huntingdon’s disease, her whole world falls apart. Not only does Rosie desperately miss her mum, but there’s a 50-50 chance she has inherited the fatal illness herself. Until she discovers that Trudie wasn’t her biological mum at all… Rosie is stunned. Can this be true? Is she grieving for a mother who wasn’t even hers to lose? And if Trudie wasn’t her mother, who is? As Rosie delves into her family’s past, uncovering deeply buried secrets and lies, she faces a heartbreaking dilemma. Should she carry on living a lie – or reveal a truth which will shatter everyone around her?

    Realy enjoyed the journey

This book explores the true meaning of family and important relationships, making us reassess our own values. It also shows us how hard life can be for young carers. I really enjoyed going on a journey with the girls in the book and discovering with them what it important in life.
