We have this in our library and i really have wanted to read this because i love cats!!! now I have it and it is great. I also love the description- it’s so good. it has lots of cliffhangers, followed by sad parts. it’s happy though, I like it a lot.

This is a really fun tale of a cat called Montezuma. It’s quite confusing at the start but then you get the hang of it. Each chapter has it’s own cliffhanger because each chapter is Montezuma’s life.

This book is a tearful and a sad ending story. My best so far! It is good enough for a film.

I read the book when I was little but I can still see a clear picture in my head when montezuma the little kitten came into the house and got his little feeble head stuck in the empty tin can of beans! How this book made me laugh and cry in all ways and I guess it was so good that I still remember it till this very moment. I guess I’m trying to say this book really took hold of my emotions taking them on a roller coaster of excitement. Every page I flicked rapidly the more eager I was to get to the ending and the next thing I new I was reading it again!

Micheal Morpurgo, a great best-selling author, has a way of telling stories in a fun way but also emotional. i am obessed with cats so i really enjoyed this book. i would recommend to people who like cats and dont mind a twisting plot.

I only give this book three stars because the parts i read, I wasn’t impressed with. Maybe this is because I don’t really enjoy books about animals, but i did hope to enjoy it more. Maybe I’ll give it another go in the future.
