Product description

Alex Rider creator Anthony Horowitz has really hit his stride with The Power of Five, a dark and brooding horror series that shrieks with nerve-shredding tension. Five teenagers. Five outcasts, standing against a terrible evil. Troubled orphan Matt has no idea that he is one of them… until he finds himself stranded in Yorkshire, threatened by black magic, and fighting to prevent the opening of a gate which will destroy his whole world. Sweeping from rural Britain to the mystical peaks of Peru and the sun-blanched Nevada desert, Horowitz’s rich, atmospheric storytelling recreates classic boys’ adventure on an epic scale. Contrasting the primitive horror of witchcraft and monsters with modern technology and ancient Inca mysteries, these sizzling bestsellers crackle with suspense, and stretch readers’ endurance to the max.

This series is great. It’s like my favourite series. I have read these atleasta hundred times. I think Matt is the bravest of all the five but my favourite is Jamie. I think this series is PERFECT. I hope they turn them into a movie.
