Product description
Horrible old Mr Gum is back with a hilarious tale for little nibbleheads! It’s a story for anyone who likes to read about hot-air balloons, mad sea captains, disgusting old villains and words like ‘wab!’, ‘tungler’ and ‘kelp’. Fifth in a bestselling series, this book’s got all of those things – and a lot more besides. Shamelessly zany and brimming with chuckles, it’ll fly off the bookshelf in a flash!
Winner of the Roald Dahl Funny Prize 2008.
“Quirky, odd and deliciously funny” – Sophie Dahl

on 21 October 2013I have this book and recently used it for my school work. In it you will read about bears called Padlock, two terrifyingly villans, one little girl called Polly, a hot air balloon and Jonathan Ripples the fattest man in town! I would recommend these series of books for all ages.
