Francesca Simon is the author of the hugely successful Horrid Henry series, which has sold over 15 million copies. More about Francesca: “I was born in St Louis, Missouri, grew up in Los Angeles and attended both Yale and Oxford Universities, where I specialised in Medieval Studies. I then threw away a lucrative career as a medievalist and worked as a freelance journalist, writing for the Sunday Times, Guardian, Mail on Sunday, Telegraph, and Vogue.

After my son Joshua was born in 1989, I started writing children’s books full time.

I have published over 50 books, including the immensely popular Horrid Henry series, published in 17 countries and now a successful CITV animation series.

I live in London with my husband, son, and Tibetan Spaniel called Shanti.”

    i think this book is very amusing and a lovely childrens book. its excellent to read and i have also read many other horrid henry books and repeatedly enjoyed them.(: i recommend this to many other children to and think they would really enjoy them.

    loved the magic when nice peter went in the box and horried henry said a word a peter comes up with bonec only no skin.

    Horrid Henry simply the best and you can do lots of jokes by reading this he is a very naughty person but I like him and so does my brother!

    this book is amazing. read this book it’s so amazing i am a big fan of all horrid henry books i just love all of them but horrid henry wakes the dead is my favourite one.
