Product description
Twelve-year-old genius Artemis Fowl is a brilliant criminal mastermind. If the rumours are true, he’s behind pretty much every major crime of the 20th century. But he makes a big mistake when he kidnaps a fairy, Captain Holly Short of the LEPrecon Police Unit, while trying to steal a stash of fairy gold. These aren’t the fairies of bedtime stories. These fairies are armed and dangerous. And they don’t play by the rules…
- The first book in Eoin Colfer’s blockbusting series
- Magic, humour, space-age gadgets: this has it all!
- Winner of the 2004 Young Reader’s Choice Award
- “Artemis is a brilliant creation” – Anthony Horowitz

on 6 February 2014This is a truly amazing book of a 12 year old criminal, Artemis Fowl. Filled with laser guns, 6 foot tall bodyguards, farting dwarfs, and red faced commanders and don’t forget the jokes!! This book is written in such a way that people who like fantasy can read it and sci- fi dudes too! It is such a well written book that can be brought to life effortlessly. Reading Artemis Fowl virtually transforms my brain into a screen where I can visualize the characters coming to life. Anyone would get obsessed with this one for sure!!!
