Product description

A hysterical fusion of fiction and comic-strip art – great for engaging book-shy kids. If you dream of a reading superhero zooming to your pupils’ rescue, the Captain can help. “Stop, in the name of Underwear!” When naughty schoolboys George and Harold accidentally brought Captain Underpants to life, they never dreamed that through his amazing wedgie-power, their school would be saved from disaster again and again. But with evil villains like Professor Poopypants and the Wicked Wedgie Woman to vanquish, even a hero like the Captain can find himself flying by the seat of his pants! These fabulous books full of fast-paced action, jokes, activities and toilet-tastic chuckles will have the children in your class reading on… and on… and on!

How to Get Boys Reading- give them a captain underpants book but make sure that it is the ENGLISH and NOT US version- fanny is perfectly acceptable in US and I don't think this is the type of word I want my child to read

My son was a reluctant reader. Thanks Captain Underpants. We both had a belly full of laughs and he enjoyed reading them several times over. His love of reading has developed since reading these books. I would certainly recommend them.

All these books by Dav Pilkey are massive hits! My favourite book in the set is Captain Underpants And The Perilous Plot Of Professor Poopy Pants where a guy with an invention tries to show the world but his name makes that kind of fail! I would recommend this to an age range of 7-11
