Product description

Love War Horse? Then don’t miss this incredible story of two puppies who become heroes of the Blitz.

Bark and Howl are two puppies born on the London Underground. Sheba is an elderly one-eared cat. At the start of the Second World War, Bark and Howl are lost in the dark maze of tunnels under London. With Sheba’s help, they learn how to survive. But when the bombs begin to fall, the puppies are separated. Alone in the deep darkness, they are terrified. But they know the tunnels so well – only they can lead hundreds of trapped people out of danger. Will Bark and Howl find each other, and lead the trapped Londoners back to safety? Any reader who loves animals and war stories will go wild for Victory Dogs.

I am reading this book on my Nook (it’s a little bit like a Kindle) and so far it’s really good. When I started reading it I couldn’t put the book down. I wanted to know what happened next. I won’t spoil the story for anyone who wants to read it. I recommend this book to anyone who likes dogs and who likes adventure.

I really like this book. It is so fun when you read it because it actually feels like you are in the story and seeing what you read. It is a book for somebody who likes getting stuck into a good book. It is about a dog who gets scared about the bombing , runs away and has puppies. In the end one of the puppies saves hundreds of peoples lives. I would definitely recommend this book.
